I am writing to you to ask your permission on doing a formal report on careers opportunities in the valley and in Texas. This report would be based on research on companies in the valley and in Texas.

The valley has several companies and many others all over Texas which would be perfect for the graduate. My report will be researching the company’s availability, pay rate, and benefits.

The following is a list of recommendations that will be detailed and discussed on how to deal with this DMD graduates founding a career.

Improving awareness of the graduates of the companies in the valley and Texas

Improving awareness of the companies of our graduate.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration concerning this issue. These are only a few of my suggestions that can help Digital Media Design graduates.

This project-report will be completed at no cost to you. This project-report should also be completed by August 8, 2008. I will be doing the research for this report with a desktop computer and resources provided by the local companies.

What did you find was easiest about doing the usability test?
I thought that completing the usability test was the hard. The easiest was constructing the instructions.

What did you find was missing in your test?
I felt that if I had some more time to work on this project I would better questions to ask and activity in my instructions.

What did you learn about your instructions form the test?
That people prefer looking at picture then reading instructions.

Did you find the test valuable? Why or why not?
I did find the test to be valuable it help to proved that the instructions.

Project Goals

My goals for my instruction are to show any one who wanted to draw, but did know how that it’s not that hard. The user would have a batter understanding on drawing. The general background of the user is to have same or no experiences of drawing. The context the user will be working in will comfortable, relax environment.

Testing Goals

I am going to focus on errors. The user will provide me with some information that will help with designing a batter instruction by what they did not understand or more information they need. I hope to learn from my errors and what exactly do they needed help with. I believe I can make my set of instructions much better by fixing my correct errors and providing more information that is needed.

User Profile

The user would have a better understanding on drawing. The genera background of the user is to have same or no experiences of drawing. The context the user will be working in will comfortable, relax environment. The user will use the computer to read the instruction everything else the user will do their self.

Scenarios and Tasks

Have you ever had the desire to learn how to draw, but you don’t know how? Now you can with my instruction on how to draw. With instruction you will able learn the basic of drawing. I will ask the user go to the site as and they were actually drawing a human head. I will then have them come back to me and see if they were successful.

Testing Materials

I will be taking notes by hand while asking questions after they will have performed drawing exercise to. I will collect their drawing to see if they were able to understand the instruction

Testing Protocol

I will be conducting the test on July 30 and we will be testing at least 5 user. I will break the interview into two parts 20 minutes to read the instruction and the other 15 minutes performed drawing exercise. I will try to guide them to finishing the drawing exercise. I will also try to answering their question to help have a better understanding if they were able to draw a human head. I will be asking several questions after the performed drawing exercise. I will be giving a test report after the test to show our results but other than that we do not think we will need to provide anything else.

My name is Jason Carpio, and I going to give instructions on to draw a human face.

Material
Paper, eraser, and pencil

Delineating Surfaces
In order to render the head as a solid, the various surfaces must be carefully described. Shown below are average guides. When I draw characters’ head, I typically break the face down into its surfaces just like the samples shown below.

POINT
1. Draw the head bald before adding the hair.
2. Capture the head as a solid object rather than a flat plane.
3. At the very least, never forget to draw a guideline for the eyes and a guideline for the face’s center. These two guidelines form a cross.
4. Start with nose bridge. That will make it easier to balance the face’s proportioning.

How to proportion the facial features
Each person’s facial features are proportioned differently, and each artist has his or her own personal taste. This are some standard proportioning used for the eyes, nose, and mouth. Use the standards as points of departure and play around until you discover a proportioning that you find satisfying.

Step 1:
Materials: You would need paper, pencil, and a white eraser. The white eraser makes it easier to ease your mistakes.

Step 2
Before you start drawing anything, make sure you draw everything lightly. This way of you make a mistakes it makes it easier to erase.

Step 3
Draw a circle or oral. This will be the base of your face.

Step 4
After you have drawn the circle or oral, draw a cross in the middle of the circle or oral. This will help you position the ears and eyes.
Form this point on you can use your own arties for the detail of the face like eye, mouth, and noise

Step 5
Draw in the eyes and just the outline. Use the horizontal line on the cross to help position the eyes.

Step6
Using the vertical draw on the noise and mouth.

Step7
Draw in the ears. The ear is positioned slightly behind the heads center and should be aligned with the eyes.

Step 8
Draw in the hair.

Step 9
Erase the cross form the without erasing eye, noise, and mouth

Step 10
Draw in the detail of the eye and any other detail of the face that you like add

Step 11
Once you’re done with the details go back and darken in all the line of the face and you done drawing your face.

So there you have it follow these steps and a little practice your drawing well improve

The purpose of the brochure is to information graduate students of Digital Media Design of what kind of careers are in the Valley.

Audience
The audience for this brochure is for the graduate students of Digital Media Design.

The brochure will be a two column; on the front will read “What’s Next?” Inside of the brochure on left said will be an introductory paragraph explaining and on the right side of the brochure will be a list of jobs in the Valley

Outcomes
The expected out is that students will use the information to found a career in their flied in the Valley.

Hello, my name is Jason Carpio and I am a senior at Texas State Technical College Harlingen. I also attend the Digital Imaging Technology program. Over the last few years, I have developed my computer skills greatly and look forward to pursuing my education and career in the digital media technology field. At the Digital Imaging Technology program, I have completed basic graphic design, digital imaging, digital publishing 1 & 2, 3d animation 1 & 2, digital sound, video, and web page 1. My name is Jason Carpio and I’m in the Digital Imaging Technology program. I plan to graduate in the summer. After I graduate, I would like to find a career in game design or web design somewhere in Austin, Texas. Some of my interests include drawing, playing video games, and reading books mostly about history. I also like to go fishing and enjoy a variety of music such as Classical, Jazz, Rock, and Metal. Once I get my Associate degree, I would like to work while continuing with my education to get a Graphic Design Bachelors. For my long term career plans, I would like to work for a company for a few years so that I can gain experience in design. I will then maybe try to start my own graphic design company. I believe my composition classes will help me achieve my goals by giving me the experience I will need to get ahead in the workplace. For example, if I need to send out a repot about the project that I am working on, I must make sure that my repot is done correctly in order to keep the clients satisfied. Communication is also important because in the graphic design industry, people usually work in groups. I will need to be able to communicate with other group members either verbally or in written form so that we get work done accurately. If we are unable to communicate, we won’t get any work done and we will lose our job. I hope that this course will help me to be more professional in my writing. By being professional in my writing, my future employers will see that I am able to work with them at their level and that will help me achieve my goal of one day having my own graphic design company
