Re: Recommendations is how the graduates of Digital Media Design information about jobs here in the valley and in Texas

I am writing to you to ask your permission on doing a formal report on careers opportunities in the valley and in Texas. This report would be based on research on companies in the valley and in Texas.

The valley has several companies and many others all over Texas which would be perfect for the graduate. My report will be researching the company’s availability, pay rate, and benefits.

The following is a list of recommendations that will be detailed and discussed on how to deal with this DMD graduates founding a career.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration concerning this issue. These are only a few of my suggestions that can help Digital Media Design graduates.

This project-report will be completed at no cost to you. This project-report should also be completed by August 8, 2008. I will be doing the research for this report with a desktop computer and resources provided by the local companies.

Reflection

What did you find was easiest about doing the usability test?
I thought that completing the usability test was the hard. The easiest was constructing the instructions.

What did you find was missing in your test?
I felt that if I had some more time to work on this project I would better questions to ask and activity in my instructions.

What did you learn about your instructions form the test?
That people prefer looking at picture then reading instructions.

Did you find the test valuable? Why or why not?
I did find the test to be valuable it help to proved that the instructions.

What changes did you make to your instructions after user testing them?
Did the results of usability testing surprise you?
I add more picture to the instruction.

I didn’t have a partner, but I have work with partner before and I found them to every helpful.

Test Plan

Project Goals

My goals for my instruction are to show any one who wanted to draw, but did know how that it’s not that hard. The user would have a batter understanding on drawing. The general background of the user is to have same or no experiences of drawing. The context the user will be working in will comfortable, relax environment.

Testing Goals

I am going to focus on errors. The user will provide me with some information that will help with designing a batter instruction by what they did not understand or more information they need. I hope to learn from my errors and what exactly do they needed help with. I believe I can make my set of instructions much better by fixing my correct errors and providing more information that is needed.

User Profile

The user would have a better understanding on drawing. The genera background of the user is to have same or no experiences of drawing. The context the user will be working in will comfortable, relax environment. The user will use the computer to read the instruction everything else the user will do their self.


Scenarios and Tasks

Have you ever had the desire to learn how to draw, but you don’t know how? Now you can with my instruction on how to draw. With instruction you will able learn the basic of drawing. I will ask the user go to the site as and they were actually drawing a human head. I will then have them come back to me and see if they were successful.

Testing Materials

I will be taking notes by hand while asking questions after they will have performed drawing exercise to. I will collect their drawing to see if they were able to understand the instruction

Testing Protocol

I will be conducting the test on July 30 and we will be testing at least 5 user. I will break the interview into two parts 20 minutes to read the instruction and the other 15 minutes performed drawing exercise. I will try to guide them to finishing the drawing exercise. I will also try to answering their question to help have a better understanding if they were able to draw a human head. I will be asking several questions after the performed drawing exercise. I will be giving a test report after the test to show our results but other than that we do not think we will need to provide anything else.
